Practical use of Double Vamp?
OK so I know double vamp makes your health go down twice as fast if you want to die, and I've seen posts like "Lend it out in dungeons" etc, but I want to know why this is necessary. What are the practical uses to double vamp (as in what would you dying achieve)

GvG -> Time Killing = bad,
die faster before time = good time" is when you res at the base, if u get time killed, you are basically useless and ur team is down 1 person for 2 mins (u get ressed every 2 mins) and the results of a gvg can turn around in that time, |

As an example, Aurora Glade mission and Dunes of Despair in HM.
Both missions are extremely difficult to do the legitimate way, but they have vulnerabilites that will allow players with Necrotic Traversal and Rebirth to teleport into areas before they would normally be able to, thus bypassing certain scripted events and making things easier. From there you degen the entire party that you left behind and port them to you one by one. Now, you can still use a single degen weapon just as well, but a double saves alot of time. |

just because you have a double vamp weapon doesnt mean you have to have a shield on the other hand, you could have a -50 Cesta as the offhand. Also, a dual vamp weapon allows you to sac health while under Armor of Salvation. If someone is running you through something and they use Armors, though unlikely, then to die you'd need to have a dual vamp. Another use is during UWSC. Because an Armor is always up, you cannot sac health, and will eventually regen health. With a dual vamp weapon, you can keep your health low, so you can die faster against dhuum and come back as a spirit. You can also use a dual vamp weapon to lower your health to make by urals hammer last twice as long and do more damage. |

in GvG it has its uses for trying to die before the 2 minute timer res, if you think you have low enough health for that to push it over the edge and kill you before time
it can also be handy to have on the rare occasions where you get stuck/glitched somewhere and can't move or get out, and aren't able to die in any other way besides killing yourself (though a lot of that's been fixed these days with /stuck) |
